In years of computer repair service not very many things have come up that I cannot fix. There is however, those pesky little BIOS passwords. On a desktop its a simple pull the CMOS battery or use the reset jumper and your problems are solved. Now on a laptop things are not so easy. If you have lost the BIOS password your only resort on most laptops is to call the manufacturer to get a master password. This can also pose a problem if you didn’t buy the laptop originally as many manufacturers will not let you reset the password until you can prove so. There is one option.
